Boot Up Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5/21/2026

Data Collection

I take privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains my approach to data collection and usage.

How BootUp Works

Boot Up uses Apple’s Screen Time framework to insert a boot timer before opening apps you have chosen to lock. All configurations and settings, including which apps you have locked, your boot duration, and your grace period, are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to external servers.

Third-Party Services

Boot Up does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

Open Source

Boot Up is fully open source. You can verify every claim in this policy by reading the source code at github.com/eliguzz/BootUp.

Changes to Boot Up

Future updates to Boot Up will follow this privacy policy. If there are changes that affect user privacy, I will notify users before making those changes.
